According to statistics from the Ministry of Civil Affairs, 65,500 funeral service agencies nationwide provide on-site memorial service, receiving 33.0261 million people to commemorate, 7.5019 million vehicles were guided, and 558,300 staff participated in service guarantee. Among them, 21.0807 million people chose green and low-carbon methods such as flower memorial service, accounting for 63.83% of the total number of people on-site memorial service; 1,576 online memorial service platforms served 590,100 people. A total of 22,100 ashes were buried in various funeral service agencies throughout the day, of which 1,634 were adopted for ecological burial methods such as sea burial and tree burial, accounting for 7.39% of the total burials on that day. The concepts of green and low-carbon memorial service and land-saving ecological burial are gradually becoming popular. Civil affairs departments in various places have strengthened organizational guarantees, implemented safety management responsibilities for memorial service, established and improved emergency response mechanisms, strengthened service guarantees for memorial service, advocated funeral changes in customs, and the people's memorial work is safe, stable and orderly.
