On the first day of the Qingming Festival holiday, Harbin Station, as the largest railway hub in Heilongjiang Province, ushered in a peak passenger flow.
Add 46 pairs of temporary passenger trains to meet passenger travel needs
According to the latest data of the railway department, Harbin Station is expected to send 93,000 passengers and 66,000 passengers. During the Qingming Festival holiday, Harbin Station is expected to send a total of more than 440,000 passengers.

Data shows that during the holidays, passenger flow outside Heilongjiang Province is mainly concentrated in Beijing, Chenyang, Dalian and other directions, while in Heilongjiang Province, medium and short-distance routes such as Qiqihar, Jiamusi, and Mudanjiang are the main ones. To this end, the railway department has added 46 pairs of temporary passenger trains, including the high-speed train from west Harbin to Chaoyang and north of Beijing, and the province has increased the number of high-speed trains and ordinary trains on popular routes such as Haqi, Harbin and Muslim, and Harbin.
Security inspection speeds up, ticket diversion, ensure passengers are in and out quickly

Faced with the surge in passenger flow, the service measures of Harbin Station have been comprehensively upgraded. Compared with the past, the number of security inspection passage areas of the station has increased from 9 to 11. At the same time, intelligent security inspection equipment has been upgraded, which can quickly identify liquid and metal items, and the efficiency has been improved by 30%. Volunteers have also been arranged in the security check passage to help passengers carry some large luggage and further accelerate the passage.

In the ticket gate area, when the passenger flow increases, adjacent ticket gates will also open simultaneously to divert passengers and reduce queue time. This flexible scheduling model has obvious efficiency improvements during peak periods.
Increase night high-speed rail to accurately match capacity and demand
In addition to service upgrades, the railway department also improves capacity by adding trains and adding trailers. It is worth mentioning that for passengers arriving at night, the railway department also launched 12 night high-speed railways from Harbin to Chenyang, Changchun, Qiqihar, Jiamusi and other directions. The latest train departs at 0:40, achieving "full-time coverage". In addition, the Harbin Bureau of China Railway analyzed the 12306 pre-sale data and dynamically adjusted the train operation plan to ensure that the capacity and passenger flow are accurately matched.

Although the ice and snow season has passed, the tourism popularity in Harbin continues. Harbin Station also has a travel consultation service, providing information such as shuttle bus schedules and hotel recommendations to fully meet passengers' travel needs.
