CCTV News: The China Federation of Logistics and Procurement announced the China Highway Logistics Freight Index for March on April 4. The index continued to rise year-on-year, indicating that driven by the steady expansion of market demand, the road transportation market as a whole showed an accelerated recovery trend.


In March, China's highway logistics freight index was 104.7 points, up 2.19% year-on-year. Judging from the model index, the index of each model continues to increase year-on-year. Among them, the vehicle index, mainly commodities and regional transportation, was 105.2 points, an increase of 2.51% over the same period last year. By region, the highway logistics freight index in Northeast China, Shandong Peninsula and Yangtze River Delta region has rebounded.

Integrated view, China's highway logistics freight index continued to grow slightly year-on-year, and the index level was running in a good range, indicating that the operation of the highway market continued to improve, and the road transportation market became more active than in the previous period.

Judging from the later trend, the economy achieved a stable start in the first quarter, the synergistic effects of stock policies and incremental policies continued to increase, and the positive market signals continued to accumulate, laying a good foundation for economic operation in the second quarter. Against this background, the activity of the road transport market is expected to continue to increase.
