On the 3rd, the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement released the China logistics industry prosperity index in March at 51.5%, up 2.2 percentage points from the previous month. The main sub-indexes have risen across the board, and logistics demand in some industries has a good momentum of recovery. Among them, the railway transportation industry, water transportation industry, air transportation industry and postal express industry have rebounded significantly.

From the perspective of consumption, entity and network consumption has recovered steadily, and the demand for urban distribution logistics has grown rapidly. The total business index of postal express industry was 68.2%, an increase of 1.9 percentage points month-on-month, and the total business index of air transportation industry increased by 2.3 percentage points month-on-month. Liu Yuhang, director of the China Logistics Information Center, said: "From the reflection of the logistics industry's prosperity index, since March, the domestic economy has continued to recover and improve, and production in various industrial fields has been recovering in an orderly manner. The coordination between the upstream and downstream of the supply chain has been further smooth, and the operating efficiency of the entire logistics has also rebounded."

The latest data from the Ministry of Commerce shows that in the first two months of this year, my country's service trade grew rapidly, with the total import and export of services of RMB 1,309.56 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%. Among them, exports were 549.58 billion yuan, an increase of 13%; imports were 759.98 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8%.

Travel services grew the fastest. From January to February, the import and export of travel services reached 409.8 billion yuan, an increase of 28.9%, of which exports increased by 142.6% and imports increased by 21.1%.

The latest annual reports released by the six listed banks show that as of the end of 2024, the total loan balances of ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, and Postal Savings Bank of China exceeded 117 trillion yuan, and its ability to serve the real economy continued to strengthen. Among them, the growth rate of loan balances for strategic emerging industries in ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, and CCB all exceeded 20%. The proportion of loans in key areas such as the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Yangtze River Delta continued to increase, and the balance of green loans of Postal Savings Bank of China increased by 22.55% compared with the end of the previous year.
