For those who enjoy the minimum living allowance benefits and non-severely disabled, the government will pay the premium on behalf of the Beijing basic pension insurance for urban and rural residents, with a premium of 50% of the year, with a premium of 500 yuan in 2025; for those who support urban and rural special hardship and severely disabled, the government will pay the premium on behalf of the Beijing basic pension insurance for urban and rural residents, with a premium of 100% of the year, with a premium on behalf of 1,000 yuan in 2025.

In addition, insurance registration and payment of people in need can be processed online and offline. Insured persons who participate in the basic pension insurance for urban and rural residents for the first time in Beijing can apply for insurance registration through the "Beijing Government Service Network", "Beijing Social Insurance Online Service Platform", as well as the "Beijingtong" mini program on the three platforms of WeChat, Alipay and Baidu. They can also bring valid ID documents to the convenience service centers of all streets (towns) across the city.
