Data shows that last week, the U.S.-listed index funds tracking emerging markets had a total of more than US$800 million inflows. Among them, the net inflow tracking the A-share and Hong Kong stock market index funds reached US$571 million, ranking first in emerging markets. It is worth noting that Deutsche Bank, an index fund that tracks the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300, had a net inflow of US$239 million last week, which is also the highest net inflow of funds in this fund since October 2024.

Jiang Xianwei, senior global market strategist at Morgan Asset Management, said: "Chinese assets are favored by overseas investors. Recently, China has continued to increase its macroeconomic policies. raising the deficit ratio shows the government's determination to actively stabilize growth. A series of policies to expand domestic demand and boost consumption reflect the importance of people's livelihood. In addition, the latest retail data have increased year-on-year and month-on-month, indicating that policies such as promoting consumption are being implemented and effective. This will continue to enhance global investors' confidence and optimism in the Chinese market and attract global funds to continue inflows."
