As the ice and snow melt, more and more migratory birds migrate from the water surface of Wolong Lake in Kangping, Shenyang. Staff from the Management Center of the Protection Area told reporters that in Wolong Lake, Chunjiang Water Warm is indeed a "Duck Prophet". The duck birds are the vanguard of the migratory army. There are more than 100,000 migratory birds such as mallards, red ducks, flower-faced ducks, ribbed ducks, and bastard merganser. Among them, the national second-class protected animal, the flower-faced duck, often forms spectacular bird waves above the lake, with varying shapes, making people dazzling.

Kangping Wolong Lake Nature Reserve is located on the East Asia-Australia Channel, one of the eight largest migratory bird migration channels in the world, providing migratory birds with sufficient food and a suitable environment. According to statistics, there have been more than 270 species of water birds observed in the reserve, with a total of nearly 4 million migratory birds stopping here every year, with the highest observation record in a single day exceeding 160,000.

At present, in addition to the duck birds, large and rare migratory birds such as bean geese, wild geese, big swans, mute swans, and oriental white storks have also appeared in Wolong Lake one after another. Migratory bird migration is expected to reach its peak in late March.
