As of the end of 2024, the total number of private legal person enterprises in my country's women participating in investment exceeded 23 million, accounting for 41.6% of all private legal person enterprises, and the average annual growth rate since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has reached 9.8%. In 2024, more than 3.3 million new private legal person enterprises were established nationwide. Women continue to exert their flexibility advantages in traditional industries, with the proportion of women participating in the education, culture, sports and entertainment industries reaching 56.1% and 46.8% respectively.
In the region, female venture capital has blossomed in full swing.
From the economic circle, women are the most active in entrepreneurship in the Yangtze River Delta region, with female investment participating companies accounting for 44.5%, followed by the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, and 43.4% and 38.7% in the Pearl River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region respectively. From the perspective of provinces, the proportion of female investors in Shanghai is close to 50%, ranking first in the country; women in Zhejiang, Beijing and Liaoning are also quite active in entrepreneurship, with the proportion of participating companies in Shanghai exceeding 47%. From the perspective of the county, more and more well-educated women choose to start a business at home or return home to start a business, which has become an important driving force for rural development, especially in agricultural product e-commerce, traditional handicrafts, etc. In Xuchang City, Henan Province, among the hundreds of companies operating wig accessories, 47.6% have female investors, including some leading companies that have gone out of the countryside, forming an industrial agglomeration effect.
In terms of quality, women's venture capital is gradually increasing.
In the emerging track, women actively invest in innovation and creation, and the proportion of female participation in the "four new economy" enterprises reached 41.9%, and the proportion of female participation in the "specialized, specialized and new" enterprises reached 53.0%. The 8 emerging industries, including the new generation of information technology industry, biomanufacturing, and nine future industries are also constantly pouring into the figure of "her". In the field of silver economy, more than 80,000 female investors have invested, accounting for 46.5%. Entrepreneurial women combine their rich family care experience to accurately grasp the market needs of the elderly in terms of health management, elderly care services, elderly education, etc., build a community platform, develop elderly-friendly products, help the elderly establish social connections, and at the same time improve service efficiency through digital tools, and promote the development of the silver hair industry towards standardization and intelligence. In the field of green economy, female entrepreneurs have participated in 445,000 enterprises, accounting for 27.4%, involving multiple sub-sector green markets such as clean energy, environmental governance and ecological protection, carbon asset management and organic agriculture.
The vigorous development of women's entrepreneurship is a direct reflection of the high-quality economic and social development in my country.
