The reporter learned today that since 2024, my country has accelerated the transformation and upgrading of the construction machinery industry through standard improvement. Focusing on the transformation of electrification, intelligence and greenness, 20 new national standards have been issued and 13 under research have been played, and have played a positive leading role in enhancing industrial competitiveness and serving the high-quality development of the industry.

In August last year, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the first batch of seven national standards for electric engineering machinery, including "Electric Earthwork Machinery Terms" and "Pure Electric Hydraulic Excavator for Earthwork Machinery Plateau Tunnels", covering terms, whole machine products, energy consumption test methods and power battery safety, filling the standard gap in the electric engineering machinery industry chain.

At the end of the same year, 10 national standards for electric engineering machinery, including "Earthworking Machinery, Hybrid Hydraulic Excavator" and "Earthworking Machinery, Hybrid Tire Loader", were successively issued, involving the technical requirements and test methods of pure electric and hybrid products of hydraulic excavators, tire loaders, non-highway wide-body dump trucks, non-highway mining dump trucks and other models, further improving the standard system of electric engineering machinery.

The implementation of the standard has achieved remarkable results since its release.

First, the market share of electric construction machinery has increased rapidly. Taking electric loaders as an example, the market penetration rate exceeded 10.5% in 2024.

Secondly, setting energy efficiency grading indicators through standards has promoted the concentration of resources to leading enterprises. The market share of the top five enterprises in the field of electric engineering machinery exceeded 75%, and the clearance of backward production capacity has been accelerated.

At the same time, the standard provides a technical basis for the procurement of equipment for major national projects. Electric engineering machinery products such as excavators, loaders, and boring machines have been rapidly applied in major national engineering projects such as the Sichuan-Tibet Railway, successfully solving the problems of reduced output power of construction machinery and high transportation costs for key accessories and oil in high altitude environments.

In addition, by actively promoting the transformation of national standards and promoting mutual recognition of standards, we will help Chinese enterprises "go global". Zoomlion pure electric mixer truck has successfully entered the German market by complying with the EU CE certification standards. Relying on the mutual recognition mechanism of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) standards, Guangxi Liugong promoted and applied Chinese standards in ASEAN countries, achieving a market share of electric loader products in Indonesia exceeding 24%.
