Wang Yi pointed out that as a permanent member of the Security Council, China will firmly safeguard the central position of the United Nations and be the backbone of the multilateral system. No matter how the international situation changes, China will be concerned about the global south, take root in the global south, and promote self-reliance, unity and development of the global south.

Wang Yi said that China and Russia are at the forefront of a new type of major power relations and set an example of neighboring countries' relations. A mature, tenacious and stable China-Russia relations are constant in a turbulent world. Both sides will jointly commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of World War II, carry forward the correct historical view, and defend the victorious results.

Wang Yi stressed that mutual respect is an important prerequisite for Sino-US relations. We cannot imagine suppressing and containing China while developing good relations with China. This approach is not conducive to the stability of bilateral relations and cannot establish mutual trust. China-US economic and trade relations are mutual and reciprocal. Choosing cooperation will achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. If we blindly put pressure on China, we will resolutely counter it.

Wang Yi pointed out that Taiwan's return to China is an important part of the post-war international order. Taiwan has never been a country, and it is even more impossible in the future. To advocate "Taiwan independence" means separating the country, supporting "Taiwan independence" means interfering in China's internal affairs, and tolerating "Taiwan independence" means undermining the stability of the Taiwan Strait. "Taiwan independence" acts of playing with fire and burning itself, and "using Taiwan to control China" is to drive a chariot. China will eventually be unified and will surely be unified.

Wang Yi said that on the issue of the Ukrainian crisis, China has always been working for peace and promoting negotiations. Achieving a fair, lasting, binding and accepted by the parties is a consensus and an effort goal.
