The China Federation of Logistics and Procurement announced the China E-commerce Logistics Index for February today (6th). Affected by the holiday in early February, the index fell back month-on-month, but the decline narrowed significantly. After the Spring Festival holiday, the e-commerce logistics market resumed a stable development trend, and the total business volume index was higher than the same period last year.
China's e-commerce logistics index in February was 108.9 points, down 0.3 points from the previous month. From the supply side, all indexes remained stable overall, and the inventory turnover rate and load rate indexes stopped falling and rebounded, both rebounding by 0.4 points on the previous month, indicating that with the end of the Spring Festival holiday, e-commerce logistics companies have returned to work one after another, and the inventory turnover rate of enterprises is accelerating.
From the perspective of demand, since the new round of national subsidy policy officially included three categories of digital products in mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches (bracelets) in the old-for-new subsidy subsidy, electronic products and intelligent demand have continued to become a hot topic of concern to consumers. In addition, with the hot box office of the Spring Festival movies and the opening of the Asian Winter Games, the search volume of cultural and sports products has continued to soar, and the role of the cultural and sports industries in promoting consumption has further emerged. The total e-commerce logistics business volume index in February was 123.3 points, down 0.1 point from the previous month, but higher than the same period last year.
In addition, the e-commerce logistics cost index in February was 119.4 points, falling below 120 points for the first time since January 2023, indicating that my country's policy effect of effectively reducing logistics costs in the whole society continues to emerge in the field of e-commerce logistics.
