The documentary film "Your Voice" produced and jointly produced by China Central Radio and Television will be released nationwide from today (18th).
The movie takes the Beijing complaint mechanism as the main content, starting from the common problems of the world's megacities governance, and selects seven major cases, including parking management in hutong, installation of elevators in old buildings, growth of telecom operators, and emergency rescue. Through documentary shooting techniques, real images, real characters and real experiences are used to show the vivid animation of "a hotline" that leverages the reform of megacities' governance, and tells the world the Beijing story of "China's governance".
General director Xu Jieqin said that what cannot be replaced by a movie is its authenticity and the most touching thing. "Your Voice" is to complete the artistic expression of the film while ensuring reality.
Peng Lingling, a resident from Heping Street, Chaoyang District, said after watching the movie: "The story in the movie is very real, it is what happened around me. I was unexpectedly moved by so many people behind the call of the residents. It moved me very much, and people-centered approached me all of a sudden."
Kong Na, a staff member of Wanshou Road Street, Haidian District, was deeply touched after watching the movie. She said that the installation of elevators in the old building and parking in old communities in the movie are all true portrayals of their daily work. A small hotline, which connects residents' expectations for a better life on one end, and the party and government's feelings for the people on the other end. It can be said that it is a two-way journey between a city and a group of people.
Li Zheng, a grassroots worker from Dongcheng District, said: "The film "Your Voice" is particularly close to the actual work of the grassroots. We strongly recommend that you go to the theater to watch this movie and learn about the story behind the hotline of 12345. I hope that the general public can participate in the practice of urban governance as a master, and everyone can build the city better together."
