If passengers find items lost on the train or in the station, they can use the "Lost Items Search" function of the Railway 12306 App, 12306 WeChat applet and the 12306 website or call the Railway 12306 customer service hotline to register information and search. The railway department will conduct preliminary matching of lost items. For those with high similarity, they will verify with the passenger telephone number. If the information stated by the passenger is consistent with the physical item, after obtaining the claim, you can go to the station to collect and forward it, or you can choose to send the item back by express delivery. If the lost items are ID cards, the railway department will take the initiative to inform the passengers in the form of text messages.
Travelers use the 12306 App, WeChat mini program and website "Fast delivery back to lose items" function, fill in the consignee, contact information, delivery address and other information on the order page, and make an appointment for express delivery back to service. China Railway Express Co., Ltd. provides two station-to-door logistics services for non-banned and restricted items. "High-speed rail express delivery" can achieve the same or next day delivery using high-speed rail EMUs. The time limit for "ordinary express delivery" is generally 3-5 days.
