According to the announcement, provisional import tax rates lower than the most-favored nation tax rate will be implemented for 935 commodities in 2025. Specifically:

●In order to support the development of new productivity led by technological innovation, reduce the use of automatic transmissions in special-purpose vehicles such as cyclic olefin polymers, ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymers, fire trucks and emergency repair vehicles, etc. import duties.

●In order to protect and improve people's livelihood, import tariffs on sodium zirconium cyclosilicate, viral vectors for CAR-T tumor therapy, and nickel-titanium alloy wire for surgical implants, etc., will be reduced.

Zero tariff treatment for products from least developed countries in 2025

According to the plan, in order to help the development of the least developed countries and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, 43 least developed countries that have diplomatic relations with China will continue to be granted zero-tariff treatment for 100% of tax items in 2025.
