Reporters learned from the Civil Aviation Administration of China on the 25th that in October, my country’s civil aviation international route passenger transportation volume and cargo and mail transportation volume both grew by more than 20% year-on-year, and the monthly cargo and mail transportation volume exceeded 900,000 tons for the first time in history.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, in October, my country's civil aviation completed a total transportation turnover of 14.60 billion ton-kilometers, a passenger transportation volume of 67.835 million passengers, and a cargo and mail transportation volume of 917,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%, 5.8%, and 13.4% respectively. The scale of transportation is growing well.

Data show that from January to October, my country's civil aviation completed a total transportation turnover of 136.63 billion ton kilometers, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%; a total of 650 million passengers were transported, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%; a total cargo and mail transportation volume of 8.312 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 13.9%.
