In order to make the "one-day color change" lychees go further, the local customs helped orchards and processing plants quickly obtain export registration qualifications, and opened a "green channel", which increased the efficiency of lychees' customs clearance time by more than 20%.

He Di, deputy director of Maoming Customs, introduced that if you help qualified orchards to carry out registration and obtain an export pass as quickly as possible, the newly registered lychee orchards in 2025 are about 1,500 acres.

In recent years, with advanced fresh preservation technology and excellent taste, Guangdong Maoming lychees have become popular in overseas markets, and exports have increased year by year. According to statistics, in 2024, Maoming Customs supervised the export of lychees of 71.054 million yuan, and more than 20 countries and regions were exported, setting a record high, and the export volume of deep-processed products surged by 378.9%.
