CCTV News: According to the official account of "City Saying New Language", recently, the 2024 China-Korea electrical product testing capability verification work organized and implemented by the State Administration for Market Regulation (National Accreditation and Supervision Commission) was successfully completed. The 22 electrical appliance inspection and testing institutions in China and South Korea that participated in the comparison have all obtained qualified results.

This capability verification work was jointly participated by 19 Chinese testing institutions including the Guangdong Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute and 3 Korean testing institutions including the Korea Industrial Technology Testing Institute (KTL). It focuses on the two key electrical safety and performance testing indicators of "input power" and "plug discharge" of the power adapter. Through rigorous test comparison, scientific difference analysis and effective rectification and closed-loop process, the two countries' electrical appliance testing technology capabilities have been successfully achieved.

As an internationally accepted method of inspection and testing technology exchange and cooperation, capability verification can accurately analyze the differences and problems of inspection and testing institutions from multiple dimensions such as standard understanding, testing operations and instruments and equipment, help inspection and testing institutions improve their testing capabilities and management levels, and lay the foundation for social acceptance and international mutual recognition of inspection and testing results.

The successful cooperation in this capability verification has significantly improved the consistency of inspection and testing technology between China and South Korea, enhanced the confidence of the government departments of the two countries in cross-border testing results, and will help reduce the cross-border testing and certification costs of Chinese and Korean electrical appliance companies, enhance the competitiveness of our country's electrical appliance companies in the international market, and further help enterprises "go global".
