The reporter learned from the Wuhan Bureau of the National Railway that this morning (15th), with the 55103 testing trains on the line, the Wuhan-Yichang section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway launched joint debugging and testing to prepare for the opening and operation of the entire line within the year.

The Wuyi section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway is located in Hubei Province. It starts from Wuhan City, passes through Tianmen City, Jingmen City, and ends at Yichang City. The main line is 313 kilometers long and has a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

After completion and opening of traffic, the time and space distance between Wuhan and Yichang will be greatly reduced, and the travel time will be shortened from the current 2 hours to about 1 hour. Drive many cities along the route such as Zhongxiang, Jingshan, Dangyang into the high-speed rail era.
