Chinese rescue team completes Myanmar earthquake rescue mission and sets back home

Xinhua News Agency, Naypyidaw, April 9 (Reporter Ma Zhuoyan, Cai Yang) On the morning of April 9, the Chinese rescue team, China International rescue team and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region rescue team that went to Myanmar to carry out earthquake rescue completed the international rescue mission and took four Chinese Air Force Y-20 aircraft to return home from Naypyidaw.

Before the trip, Myanmar held a thank-you ceremony for the Chinese rescue team at the Ministry of Social Welfare and Relief and Resettlement. Sovin, Vice Chairman of the Myanmar National Management Committee, attended the ceremony and sent a letter of thanks.

Myanmar Vice Foreign Minister Lunwu and Cao Jing, the interim office of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, went to the airport to see him off.
