CCTV News: China Earthquake Network officially determined that a magnitude 4.4 earthquake occurred in Huize County, Qujing City, Yunnan at 18:50 on March 29 (27.00 degrees north latitude, 103.42 degrees east longitude), with a depth of 10 kilometers.
After the earthquake, the China Earthquake Administration quickly launched a magnitude 4 emergency service response, dispatched the China Earthquake Network Center and the Yunnan Provincial Earthquake Administration to carry out emergency response work, and required relevant units to conduct joint consultations, strengthen earthquake monitoring and post-earth trend analysis, and report relevant situations in a timely manner. At present, the Yunnan Provincial Earthquake Bureau has sent a field work team to the earthquake zone urgently to assist local governments in carrying out emergency response work. It is understood that there are no reports of casualties in this earthquake.
