CCTV News: According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, my country implemented 1,100 consumer product recalls in 2024, an increase of 42.7% over the previous year, and involved 4.543 million products, a decrease of 56.4% over the previous year.

According to the investigation by market supervision departments throughout the year, 1,031 recalls were recalled, involving 1.911 million products, accounting for 93.7% and 42.1% of the total number of recalls and the total number of recalls respectively. Defect investigation is still the main way to promote the implementation of recalls by consumer product manufacturers.

From the perspective of consumer product defect types, 1,078 recalls were recalled due to standard compliance issues, involving 2.759 million products, accounting for 60.7% of the total number of recalls. Standard compliance issues are still the main reason for consumer product recalls.

As of the end of 2024, my country has implemented a total of 5,985 consumer product recalls, involving 105 million products.
