CCTV News: The Consumer Expo is being held in Hainan. The South China Sea has abundant fishery resources and is an important area for my country to carry out deep-sea aquaculture. Over the years, Hainan has been constantly moving towards the deep sea. What "treasures" are hidden in this "blue grain silhouette"? Follow the reporter to visit.

The wet sea breeze was swept with a faint salty smell. The motors of fishing boats and the noisy hawking sounds gradually overshadowed the sound of waves in the fishing village. This is the Tanmen Central Fishing Port in Tanmen Town, Qionghai City, the largest fishing port in eastern Hainan.

The day in Tanmen Town began with such bustling transactions. The villagers told reporters that the weather here was particularly good these two days, fishing boats traveled frequently, and every time they returned to the port, they caught a full cabin. Like the reporter, there were also buyers from all over the world waiting here early, and everyone was looking forward to it in order to get the first bite of freshness to get ashore.

Seafood buyer Duan Ronghua said, "I come from Hebei and have been doing seafood business in Hainan for about ten years."

Seafood buyer Wang Haihang said, "The seafood here in our Tanmen is very distinctive. Nowadays, seafood is sold in Beijing, Shanghai, and Northeast China. The sales are 30,000 to 500,000 yuan a day. During the peak season, the sales can reach 400,000 yuan and 500,000 yuan a day."

Tuna has the reputation of "the best in the deep sea" and "the king of fish", and is a top delicacy in the eyes of diners. Most of them live in ocean areas, and the only way to get them is sea fishing. And you may not know that now in Lingshui, Hainan, the first yellowfin tuna farming demonstration base has been built and put into use in China. These top delicacies are accelerating the "swimming" from the ocean to your dining table.

The reporter saw that the circular cage of farmed tuna was 90 meters in length and the net was 7 meters deep. Staff said that the largest tuna here has been farmed for more than three years, with a body length of more than 1.5 meters and weighing more than 150 kilograms. There are eight such cages in this sea area, and more than 4,000 yellowfin tunas are raised.

In order to closely observe the growth process of tuna, staff have installed network monitoring systems on and underwater to monitor their growth process and living conditions in real time, and will regularly use underwater drones to monitor the behavioral monitoring and data records of tuna.

The reporter experienced a handful of tuna fishing on the spot. If the tuna caught wants to be made into a sashimi, it must be bleeding immediately after it goes ashore, otherwise the blood accumulation in the fish will affect the taste and quality. Then, 3-5 days of frozen acid discharge treatment will be carried out to make the meat more tender and soft.
