At noon on April 14 local time, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and President Xi Jinping arrived in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, by special plane. At Hanoi Nai Pai International Airport, the crowd was welcomed to wear bright national costumes, play cheerful drums, wave the flags of the two parties and countries of China and Vietnam, and warmly welcome Xi Jinping to the visit.

This visit is the opening work of the Chinese head of state this year and is also the first visit to the surrounding areas after the Central Peripheral Work Conference. This year coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam and the "China-Vietnam Cultural Exchange Year", and the construction of a community with a shared future for China and Vietnam ushers in new development opportunities.
