The reporter learned from relevant departments that compared with the traditional departure tax refund processing process, the "buy now and refund" policy will put the tax refund process in advance, allowing overseas travelers to enjoy the benefits brought by tax refund more intuitively. At present, Zhejiang has opened 163 departure tax refund stores, and has also added a number of "buy now and refund" service points to major scenic spots and resorts.

Changsha, Hunan: The "buy now and refund" pilot program for overseas passengers has been launched

Recently, the first batch of overseas passengers shopping and leaving the country's tax refund "buy now and refund" pilot program for "buy now and refund" is launched. The processing point is located at the Customer Service Center on the second floor of Changsha Guojin Center. Passengers coming to Hunan from abroad can go directly to the processing point to handle tax refund services on site as long as they shop in a store marked with the "Tax Refund Store".

If you want to apply for a tax refund for departure, overseas passengers need to meet two conditions at the same time: one is that the entry has not exceeded 183 days, and will leave at Changsha or Zhangjiajie Airport within 17 days; the other is that the amount of tax refund products purchased by the same passenger in the same tax refund store on the same day is between RMB 500 and RMB 50,000.

Chengdu, Sichuan: "Buy and refund" to activate consumption enthusiasm

Chengdu, Sichuan, is also actively exploring the "buy and refund" service model for tax refunds from departure, which not only enhances the consumption enthusiasm of overseas tourists here, but also further enhances Chengdu's attractiveness as an international consumption destination.

Last year, Sichuan's first "buy now and refund" centralized refund point was officially launched in Jinjiang District, Chengdu, and the departure tax refund window was "move forward" to the commercial complex.
