At present, the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River have a total of 704.7 kilometers of rivers, including 637 kilometers of river section in the upper reaches of Inner Mongolia and 67.7 kilometers of river section in the middle reaches of Shanxi River. The situation in the Yellow River is generally stable and no major dangers have occurred.

The river flow in the Inner Mongolia section of the Yellow River is roaming and changing.
